Success in Prison Officer ‘s case with successful half-time submission
Andrews Angel Solicitors have successfully acted for K, a prison officer charged with Conspiracy To Pervert The Course of Justice.
Following the suicide of a prisoner, it was alleged that K had falsified record entries to point suspicion away from colleagues who it was alleged failed to carry out duties properly.
Following a half-time submission, the Judge, Mr Justice ? ruled there was no case to answer. The case was also stopped against three colleagues charged with manslaughter.
